Case Study
RiskFlow
Multi-Tenant Risk Management Platform
Full-Stack Engineer

Overview
RiskFlow is a risk management platform that helps companies manage their risks throughout the entire risk lifecycle. Companies can use the platform to register, assess, score, comment on, monitor, reassess, and manage risks, as well as generate reports containing their risk data.
What I Worked On
I contributed across both the frontend and backend, as well as deployment and infrastructure. Key areas I worked on included:
- Risk registration and management
- Risk assessment and scoring
- Risk comments and collaboration
- Risk monitoring and reassessment
- Risk reporting
- Frontend application development
- Backend APIs and business logic
- Database integration
- Docker-based deployment
The Challenge: Multi-Tenant Architecture
One of the most technically interesting parts of the project was implementing the platform's multi-tenant architecture.
Multiple companies use the same application, but each company must have complete separation from every other company's data.
This required building the application so that:
- Each company could manage its own risks
- Users could only access data belonging to their company
- Data remained isolated across tenants
- The same application could support multiple organizations simultaneously
This was one of the most important architectural considerations because a data-isolation failure could expose one organization's sensitive risk information to another.
Deployment
I also worked on deploying the application using Docker, helping take the application from development into a deployed environment.
Impact
RiskFlow is currently deployed and being used by 5 companies. The project gave me hands-on experience building a production multi-tenant SaaS application where data isolation, backend architecture, and reliability are critical.
